Receptionist / Administrative Assistant We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant opportunity with our art gallery client, who has become a cultural center for all ages. The client is a vibrant, non-profit art center located in one of the first homes built in Arcadia, Phoenix, AZ. Its scenic setting and historic charm provide a unique setting in which visitors can explore and enjoy visual arts programming through classes, workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and events. For children, a variety of art activities are offered year-round, including After-School Art Classes, Summer Camps, and Family Fun Nights. Venue rentals are also available for weddings, board retreats, private parties, and custom classes. An on-site gift shop and outdoor sculpture garden offer one-of-a-kind works of art for sale, which foster their mission to support and showcase Arizona artists. The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: Answering and directing incoming phone calls. Performing daily administrative computer work on macOS. Warmly greeting and welcoming guests. Monitoring and logging visitor traffic. Coordinating calendars and scheduling virtual meetings (Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Preparing and sending official correspondence. Compiling and organizing meeting packets. Handling general administrative tasks with a proactive, hands-on approach to keep client workflows moving forward. Required qualifications for the position include: 1+ years of corporate receptionist and administrative experience. 1+ years of customer service experience. Proficiency with macOS operating systems and software. Familiarity with an art gallery or fine art environment is a plus. Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
